Personal Measurement Form
You can either choose a size from our size chart...or...you can have your dresses made according to your personal measurements, via this form below, which incurs a 15% surcharge.
if there is a certain part of a design that you want or need to hit a certain place on your body (and that measurements is not requested on our measurement form) please provide that measurement to usat the bottom of that form or on your order form
Simply have someone you trust, your local seamstress, alterationist, dry cleaners or tailor take your personal measurements according to our chart below and then scan/email the filled out form along with your order form to cordellcouture@cordellcouture.com. We will then make your garment according to the measurements you provide.WE RECOMMEND YOU HAVE A PROFESSIONAL TAILOR OR ALTERATIONIST TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS. You can go to http://local.yahoo.com to find an alterationist or tailor near you.
Any alterations, fittings, changes or adjustments, if necessary, can be easily done by any one of your local tailors, seamstresses, or alterationist. We are not responsible for a clients fluctuation in weight.
Understand with any design...instead of using fit or trying on as a criteria for looking good on....a better criteria is to say does the dress in the picture cover what I want to cover, and does it show what I want to show. If the dress in the picture (with or without changes) does that.....then at that point you simply need to have it made (per your taste, needs & preferences - with or without changes) in your own specific and personal measurements so that it will fit on you how you want, be made according to your specific body shape & hit on your body where you need it to - (unlike any that you may try on off the rack that were not made to your specific body shape but instead in that designers stock sizes).
